Regulated qualifications, also known as accredited qualifications, are those that are reviewed, recognised and monitored by the UK Regulators to ensure that they meet specific criteria and quality standards. The requirements for the regulated qualifications to be accredited are set out in the regulatory arrangements of the General Conditions of Recognition in England (OfQual).
Ofqual, the Regulator in England, monitor and review the process of accredited qualifications before and after they are listed in the Register of Regulated Qualifications. For the qualification to be accredited, Qualifi has to submit their proposed qualification programme against the regulatory requirements and, that Qualifi maintains the appropriate standards and quality for the design, development and delivery of its qualifications.
In addition to regulated qualifications, Qualifi endorses programmes and courses provided by centres and organisations that are industry specific. We have a wide range of skills sectors available at all levels and partner with other learning organisations to provide flexible solutions. To learn more about endorsed courses click here.
Qualifi has many qualifications currently being developed at Level 2 and above. You may have your own programme that has the potential to become a regulated qualification. Our experts can work with you to design and develop a qualification that is fit for purpose and meets all regulatory requirements within one of our recognised skills sectors. At the heart of Qualifi’s commitment to the creation and awarding of respected qualifications is a rigorous focus on high standards and consistency, beginning with recognition as an Awarding Organisation (AO) by the qualification regulators for England (Ofqual), and as signatory to BIS international commitments of quality.
Qualifications developed to fit the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) provide an indication of the relative demand of different qualifications. Learners and employers receive a consistent and credible recognition of learning along with a structured career progression route promoting life-long learning, and are recognised worldwide as a standard for accomplishment.
RQF qualification levels are based on the standard of knowledge, understanding and competence needed for industry groups.
Our university progression agreements mean you can apply your Qualifi Level 4 and upwards diploma, towards a graduate or post graduate degree from the UK or the USA.
