Dr Trevor Bolton spent 30 years working in UK universities retiring as a Pro Vice Chancellor in December 2019. He now follows a portfolio career, sitting on several boards including the Architectural Association. He is an experienced director, Trustee, governor and council member.

He also runs his own consultancy company, advising several universities and colleges in the UK and overseas in both the public and private sectors. He holds degrees from 3 universities including a PhD from Lancaster University. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD).
